    latest update problems

19 days ago i was having issues with performance but that was fixed with a simple GFX drv reinstall and it was problem free. Now noticed Win10 had updates pending, kb4088776 & 4088785. installed fine, restarted ok but now i'm getting intermittent freezes, when trying to select files by click drag highlight the cursor will stop responding and me selecting files will freeze for a sec. right clicking on desktop takes a sec for menu to show and u can feel it lag

i've DDU the GFX drv and installed fresh, didn't help.

forget gaming, i'm seeing frametime spikes into 30k's + in Path of Exile, i'll run and freeze, or kill a mob pack freeze and get killed by second pack

these damn M$ updates are pissin me off

help before i format and install win 7

edit; just did a right click ->nvidia control panel = tries to open, get a loading cursor icon, forced to hard restart

Check and see if the graphic driver is signed by Microsoft, if it is, change to the evga driver you previously used that is not signed by Microsoft...

    i always use nvidia's drivers

just ran a map in path of exile, didn't freeze but it wasn't smooth like before, and scrolling website FF 59.0.1 feels like i'm low on mem

edit; had to reboot, tried PoE and it's back to stuttering, some freeze.

edit; 2d performance is worse, takes a few seconds to open pictures, few reboots to play PoE, it's like the 1070 isn't getting initialized
edit; even skipping a youtube video by 10 seconds freezes the video + mouse while sound plays
