"Microsoft Windows, application not responding".Why is this happening?

Hi, really annoying issue I keep encountering.
Wondering if you can help as I look online and there are no solutions.

-I turned PC on, opened origin and google chrome then it froze.
Screen went to grey, you could still see desktop folders/wallpaper, then the message Microsoft Windows, the application is not responding. The program may respond again if you wait. Nothing I can do so I power off PC using the power button. Turn PC back on and its fine...

-This is like the 4th time its happened in a week. First time last Sunday when I alt+tabbed from playing Battlefield 1. Again on Monday when I turned PC on and opened Chrome

I also receive a *critical* in event Viewer. Its the *Kernel-Power* message.
But thats only because I had to power off PC from power button.

I have ran sfc /scannow, chkdsk /f, DISM check health and its all come back fine

Please help. No idea what to do

It's Chrome Browser going thorough a bad spell, it has froze on mine about 10 times in the past two weeks after it's latest up date.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome but it is still the same.
All you can do is wait until next update, which I suspect maybe quite soon....
