~4700 hours old laptop hard drive is very slow

Hi, so I have this problem. At first, my computer started feeling really slow, the boot times were quite long about 3min. and I tried to reinstall Windows, it helped for a bit but then the problem reappeared again. So I started looking deeper, I scanned my computer with Malware-Bytes, no viruses. Task Manager looks clean, CrystalDiskInfo, HDSentinel shows that there are no problems with the hard drive. And then I decided to do a random access read test wtih HDTune and times were quite long and speeds quite low https://prnt.sc/io0tdc. So that means that my hard drive is already dying or is there anything I can do? It's a Toshiba 1TB Drive (MQ01ABD100). I tried to do a error scan with a built-in Windows tool and do a defragment but it didn't help.

It's most likely an older hard drive starting to show its usage. You could look at swapping it for an SSD.

I have the same Hard Drive on my Laptop, that looks about right, my Boot time is about 25 sec.
Without a load more info on what is installed how it's configured, the software maintenance you do, can't say anything about what might be wrong.

It's only 4700 hours, that's about 200 days, I had an even older laptop with an even older hard drive and that still was faster.

Well, surely I don't have any unknown programs installed, all are pretty popular like CCleaner, Malware-Bytes, MSI Afterburner, qBitTorrent (it's closed most of the time) HWMonitor. I don't do much software maintenance, mostly cleaning with CCleaner and checking for viruses with Malware-Bytes. I tried to uninstall HDD drivers that seemed to improve HDTune results, I'm gonna try to do a full defragment of my system and see if that will help.

The amount of days doesn't matter as much as constant writes to the drive.

I don't use CCleaner anymore. That's not maintenance it's just trivial tinkering about. Depending on what features you use (configuration ?) can slow things up. If you delete say Prefetch files all the time this actually slows up opening of all applications.

Defrag is done to a schedule in Windows you may just as well forget about that, modern disc filing systems are not particularly affected anyway.

A standard Laptop HDD like that is what it is, primarily it's performance is related to the mechanics.

" qBitTorrent " I don't use such applications, as you have mentioned that then I'm out, bye.

Well yeah, I clean Prefetch and %temp% time to time but I don't think so that it would even affect gaming.
