    No idea - I'm just a user here.

    You could say "see my tutorial at thislink in your posts or in your signature perhaps. You can include video links but it looks pretty bad if you always fill half your post with a still from the start of your YouTube video.

    Tenforums could use a tutorial on gathering performance data (especially on boot as people complain about that a lot). Someone would have to look at the data gathered though.

    It is a question for the admins really - I don't have an answer. Put it in your sig with "if you are interested in this see this link" or something.

    OK...I generated the report but I couldn't attach it because it was 206 mb. I then compressed the file which dropped its size to 16mb but the limit is 8mb so no joy in uploadig this file.

    Since the recorder was still running well into the black screen, could I stop the recorder a few seconds into the black screen...that might at least capture the first thing that drives the system to the black screen? That ought to get us a manageable file size

    upload the file on https://www.transfernow.net/ and share the link...

    The boot trace record all events from the os loader to the desktop. So the event leading to the black screen is recorded.
