    Can you upload the latest boot trace generated by xbootmgr command. you can find it under your profile it's named boot_BASE+CSWITC I think. I'll see what has changed since, and if there always a lot of disk activity. sometimes the problems are underlyed...

    Do you need only the .etl file or the .cab file as well. BTW, is this the file?

    In the meantime, I'm downloading the 1703 version, if everything fails that is my last resort.

    There I slightly improvement compared to the first boot !Phases are shorter, but disk activity remains important! But I can't see why (if it's always the prefetcher or something else), as the call stack is empty.can you take another boot trace with WPR if you don't mind ?

    Update- The booting up is a lot faster now. Now it takes about 13 seconds to get to the logon screen after I press the power button. I'm happy with this. Thanks to everyone who helped.
