Event ID 10016, CLSID and APPID

Point 16... I don't understand. If I do Edit and then Add... I go to "Select Users or Groups" but if I add Local Service under "Enter the object names to select" and then use "Check Names"... the system does not find it. I'm surely missing something. What?

Note: For this step, look for the one that appeared at the right panel of the RegEdit. For example, the AppID {4839DDB7-58C2-48F5-8283-E1D1807D0D7D} registry key contains the "ShellServiceHost" data with a (Default) as a value name. Now look for "ShellServiceHost".

This info is awesome, really clear and makes sure you're working with your own values.

Is a restart required after these changes? Also, if the errors still show; is there anything that could be missing from this info?

I've been trying to fix the errors this way each time I see them, but there's one that keeps showing and I don't get why..

Would this part of the error make any difference?

I have the same exact error. Same values except for username of course. I tried everything that was suggested here. Gave my username the DCOM authorisation but the error is still manifesting itself. I have not rebooted, but I don't think that should be needed.

So this is interesting..

Today there's a bit more info on the same error (repeats 3 times).

Maybe Microsoft is working on it behind the scenes? Because instead of (Unavailable SID) it's now identified as a "ShellExperienceHost" with an SID.

But it's not the same error, though. CLSID and APPID are different.

Yeah I meant same sort of error, like I'm not sure what to make of the extra info I'm seeing on them now.

They just keep popping up lol

This is driving me absolutely crazy. Over 33,000 entries in a 3.5 day period. SIDs not identified. Followed the instructions completely and no errors. ImmersiveShell and ShellServiceHost are my problems apparently. Random shut-downs, Event Log stopping. This is crazy.
