This thread? ISDone.dll Installing Huge Game.Error 11. - Windows 10 Forums
Either you have a problem with your disk (which it appears not) or you have a problem with the installer.
When you install games you download them in a compressed format which is then unzipped and written to your disk. Most games compression is terrible. By terrible I mean not compressed very well when writing to disk - what you download is compressed fine. Most games you can manually compress after installing and they will work at least the same speed (or faster) and use much less space. That is another story though.
I would delete the installer (or validate files if you got it from Steam), run disk cleanup, download it and try again.
Now I'm wanting to know what game and where it was purchased from. Really sounds more like it's a torrented repack (?) which would mean I'm out. Since Your HDD checks good, I would suggest running memtest on the RAM overnight, if the game is Genuine.
I actually didnt download it,I got it from a friend of mine,I dont download games I buy them. But I was bankrupt and bored to my extent that I went around begging for games and I got this. And yes thats the thread.
I got it From a friend of mine. My internet was down so I asked for games and he gave it to me. It looks like its a repack though.
With the compression levels used by some repackers your system needs to be perfect. If you had watched task manager you prolly would have also seen 100% RAM usage as well as Disk usage. Any RAM errors or a slow HDD can cause the installation to fail.
I spent many Years on Warez Sites where along with a few others, we'd spend our Days downloading games and programs checking for Malware. There are a lot of repackers like DJ who's downloads I'd trust while there are others like RG_C******* who included a little something Extra you Don't want on your Puter. Now that most of us aren't doing the testing anymore, I strongly recommend people Don't use any "shared" games or program apps.
There are several Sites where You can get Free Games if you're bored and can't scrape up the funds. If you have the Internet speed (or patience) for a fairly large download, there are even MMO games like DC Universe Ultimate Online Gaming Destination | Daybreak Game Company that you can play online. Much more better than getting a PC infected with Malware.
