Constant 100% Disk Usage, 60-80% CPU usage. Both happen when idle.

So on Saturday of last week my PC started to run slow. I open up task manager to check what was going on and I am greeted with it showing me that I have very high CPU usage, and constant capped-out disk usage.
Over the course of the past few days I have reinstalled Windows 10, updated drivers, completely formatted my previous hard-drive, and just today I received a new SSD. However, my problem STILL persists, and I'm all out of ideas on what I need to in order to solve this.

My Motherboard is an ASUS Z97-P with an Intel i5-4690K processor. If you need more specifications, or a program to be run, then I would be happy to do so.

For further information, the system ran normally when booting from a Windows 8.1 hard-drive, and did have a blip of normal performance on Windows 10, but resumed misbehaving when the computer was re-started.

in Task Manager sort by CPU usage and see what apps are responsible.

Could you also provide a snapshot of Resource Monitor with selected Disk Activity Tab and checked only System:

i would also suggest running checkdisk and sfc /scannow

    Hi,

Downloadand install Windows Performance Toolkit (Just install Windows PerformanceToolkit, not the whole package)
    https://goo.gl/igAC21

Then runWindows Performance Recorder (just open Windows menu and type WPR)
    checkthese options https://justpaste.it/1d5a6

When thedisk starts to be heavily used, click start button to begin recording thetrace. When you are asked to choose the location where to record your tracefile, choose an external storage to not add overhead to the disk.

Recordfor 1 or to 2 minutes to get sufficient data to analyze.

Whendone, compress yourtrace file, and share the file using https://www.transfernow.net/ or anyother file sharing website. I'll analyze your trace and give you a feedback.

Pleasedon't forget to zip your trace file !
