    I formatted my drive and reinstalled couple days after last post. No problems so far.. It is very strange.. Try using the shortcut I posted above to shutdown your pc. Should be fast than.

    Having the same issue after reinstalling windows from scratch, and i also have an ASUS motherboard.
    Boot degradation is happening with almost every boot, i'm desperately holding for the Spring Creators Update which might somehow resolve this.

    Having the same issue even after a complete reinstall (after several weeks, boot degradation starts occurring), any chance the Spring CU will resolve it?

    Can whoever has this slow boot time check the "Last BIOS time" value on Task Manager - Startup tab?
    Mine shows 14s after reboot, if you have fast startup enabled and you shutdown, it will be accumulated until next reboot / shutdown without fast startup.

Slow boot time after AU update in Performance & Maintenance
I am using an NVME drive and used to get a 10 second boot time, but after the AU update its nearly 50 seconds. I haven't added any more programs to startup, so why is this happening. Would like to know if there is a fix. Thanks
