    100% Disk usage freeze


    I got a problem on my Disk 0 (Seagate SSHD) it goes 100% randomly and freezes the whole pc i can still move the cursor but it wont register when i click but after a while it register it is more noticable when copying large files but when i open the pc and reconnect the Power Sata cable it returns to normal but after 4 days and so the problem returned and i noticed some beep sometimes i tried checking ram no issues checking S.M.A.R.T no issues and updated my drivers still not working i even reinstall windows 10 because it got loop from automatic repair is there any fix for this?

    What does event viewer say? You could also check reliability history for errors.

    And your mention about SATA power cable indicates, that it would be good to change (there are usually multiple connectors available). Also check SATA data cable.

    oops sorry i just reinstalled windows 10 but based on last installation event viewer say something about I/O error and the sata cable is new and the power

    OK and be careful anyway. Those errors could be there because of cables, but also drive itself could be the culprit. Make regular backups in case drive goes south.

    ok but based on other forums it is because of SATA Controller crashing because of SSD but my drive is SSHD could it be the problem?

    Give us one of the errors (reliability history will do - click on error and copy paste detailes)

    yes the problem return but i cant even open file explorer or task manager because after logon it beeps then freeze and only solution was restarting it forcefully and after logon again it freezes i tried cleaning RAM swapping cables I might replace my seagate sshd and see if it will work and no reports in reliability history because of reinstalled windows

    a little weird is happening i was hoping before replacing the drive to see if it occurs in safe mode and it dosent freeze or beep i will copy my files to secondary drive and do a full format and reinstall windows
