Don't know if this means anything, but the committed memory is 23/23 and usage is now at 7.1GB with nothing running (except performance monitor and tskmgr)

It become obvious that's a memory leak problem. there are tools to diagnose that as others highlighted previously.I prefer to use Windows Performance Toolkit, you can download here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...d/adk-install- Start Windows Performance Recorder and record a trace for 5 min to 10 min (to collect the max of data) with these values https://justpaste.it/1ewmrShare with us your trace file and we will analyze it.

The low on memory warning is rather misleading. It does not mean there is a shortage of RAM and Windows doesn't even have a warning for this. The warning occurs when the commit charge is approaching the commit limit. Often this is caused by either a non existent or too small pagefile but there are other causes.

Post a screenshot of Task Manager- Performance tab, showing memory information. This has important information not easily obtained elsewhere. Resource monitor does not have it.

Before i saw your post, it let me back into Windows, but i could smell something burning and sure enough it was the ram, so I replaced it with a 16gb module and everything seems fine.
