    Boot problems since update 1709 (B 16299.125)

    Good Morning.

After I installed the update 1709 (Build 16299.125), new problems just started appearing. Most of them I could fix myself (they're minor, so I won't mention them), but there's this big f-ing problem: The first boot attempt always fails after the PC had been turned off for more than 12 hours.

To go into more detail, after pressing the Start button on the PC, the screen turns on, completely black. Then the Windows logo and the loading dots appear. After about 5 seconds, the dots vanish and it just stays like that until I force shutdown the PC and restart the process. The second attempt makes the machine boot normally.

Is there something to do about this?

    Thanks.

Look in the power options, on right side click on Additional power options. Then click on what happens when I close the lid. Click on Change Options that are currently unavailable, Uncheck the Fast Startup box.

Alright, did it. I'm gonna try a boot tomorrow and then post here. Thanks.
