Can I ask in terms of the MB. What made you pick this board over the Maximus X Hero or Hero Wifi?

Was it the look and it does look sharper.

After comparing them more below, I suppose it's more for the look since they are pretty similar. I did want to have wireless and Bluetooth 4.2 support for future VR and controllers.

Thanks. I'm settling in on pretty much the same build and saw the two Hero boards.

For cases Mike and Steve brought my attention to the Phanteks. Looking at that Luxe case you mentioned.

I have/had the Phanteks Primo, I own the Pro M tempered glass and bought the Luxe for this Coffee Lake build. I guess you could say I like Phanteks. But, they make good cases that will enable you to do anything you want. Everything is screwed into the Luxe, so it is easy to mod if you wanted to. Just remove a few screws. Looks like it could be stripped down to just the frame if needed. So you can set it up any way you want to.

Big price differences here in Canada. Pro M $140, Luxe $200 and Primo $349. Subtle differences with big dollar implications.

Yea, big difference than prices here.

Yes we have to pay the exchange, which I can live with, and accounts for most of delta but then we get a surcharge for living north of a line you really can't see.
