my specs are lower that that and i know they push 450 watts when i had just two more internal hdd's,cause in less than a year i replace two good psu's cause of too heavy a load. if anything with a psu go for the overkill so if you add anything else internally the psu won't get overloaded.
For me rule of thumb is with today's hardware ,i would get at least a 800w at least for the drives and gpu and other devices you can eat a lot of juice and don't know it Overclocking included

Also try to keep it above Bronze level at least gold rated to insure a solid current nothing wrong with bronze but better to pony up a little more for quality long term hardware

I have a Corsair HX1050 rated Silver but it has been upgraded to Platinum so pretty much same product been going strong for over 4 years now

i noticed you forgot the cpu cooler. you had the in you first lis, but it's missing now. i suggest Cooler Master Hyper 212X cause it has two fans or liquid cooling considering you are running a ryzen.

get a compatibility note that my SSD shares bandwidth with 2 SATA ports thus effectively disabling them as long as the SSD is installed. Is this correct?
Yes...some mobo's are set like that as the SATA ports share the PCI lane. It will only effect you if you have a lot of drives connecting via SATA ports and this is ultimately up to the mobo vendor as to how many SATA ports are installed.

i'm actually good now cause i have a third of the drives externally, just learned the hard way they eat more power each than even the video card does. my mistake was going with thermaltake instead of sticking with apevia. apevia makes great psu's. i strongly recommend them over the way over priced competition like thermaltake, corsair, cooler master, etc...

Whatever is the best PSU brands out there for you, that's what you buy. I'd look less into the 80Plus certification and look into how it really performs.

Before you think Asrock is Garbage it's actually a long trusted brand i have owned many Asus but in the end my Heart belongs to Asrock
Having reviewed boards for every manufacturer I can honestly say that the samples from ASROCK and ASUS were the least problematic and were fun to play with........to this day I pretty much only go with either of these two....

I presume you intend to get more and pay less by assembling a tower instead of buying one (using your free labor to create much of the savings).

I wonder whether something is wrong with your choices or your prices.
I'll compare it to the Dell I bought earlier this year. In short ... I got more for less.

    The differences:
    You spec a GTX1030. I bought a GTX1060.
You supplement the 500 GB SSD with a 1 TB internal drive and a 4 TB external drive. I have a pair of 2 GB internal drives.
    All else is the same.

With tax and shipping (and a warranty) it cost $140 less.

Asrock has been the main provider i have used for years even first gen Pentium i was using Asrock

In the end i stick with what works for me and like you said between Asrock and Asus those are the most solid Gigabyte wasn't so good to me in the motherboard department but their GPU's rock no matter what it's a Gamble

Hey I've been wondering, my wife's cousin had a look at my list of parts and told me that the Ryzen CPU was a headache and not worth it and I should go with Intel. But what I've noticed is a lot of people posting on these boards like the Ryzen. Anyone have any comments on why he'd be saying that? His reasons included the drivers being shit, for one thing. I'm not sure.

is he using highend air cooling or liquid cooling? if not then yes most likely he will have problems. the ryzen does run hot. now i know a lot of people in this thread keep pushing asrock, but out of three boards it was the problematic one. the asus and gigabyte boards were rock solid as i would expect from this manufactures.
