Don't worry about so called bottle neck from a calculator, it doesn't really take into account other uses, like if you use virtual machines, and not game, for example, but yeah, a video card upgrade is something you might want to think about later though.

As for which RAM to buy, unless you are trying to benchmark it as far as you can, the sweet spot is 3200 to 3600MHz, where in normal use you won't really notice a difference, according to OC3D's Tiny Tom.
    Memory Content | OC3D
When you get even higher rated(ie 4000MHz), even though using XMP profile, you can still get stability issues, when overclocking the CPU at the same time.

In this case it's really up to you.
3200 for regular daily use and gaming.
3600 for benchmarking the hell out of it

Thanks mate; I’ll go for the 3600MHZ as I like the idea of “benchmarking the hell out of it”:)

Any help with the choice of Motherboards?

    Hi,

Intel Core i7-8700K @ 3.70GHz with GeForce GTX 1060 (x1) will produce 28% of bottleneck.
Just out of curiosity I ran "Bottlenecker" for one of my systems at home.
It claims I have 39% bottleneck because my CPU (a I7 7700K) is too weak for my GPU (the one on the Intel processor).

    Really ??

    Cheers,

Bottleneck detected: Your CPU is too weak for this graphic card.
Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.00GHz with GeForce GTX 980 Ti (x2) will produce 22% of bottleneck. Everything over 10% is considered as bottleneck. We recommend you to replace Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.00GHz with Intel Core i9-7920X @ 2.90GHz.

But it doesn't factor in any OC :)

And with only 1 980 Ti

Graphic card and processor will work great together Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.00GHz with GeForce GTX 980 Ti (x1) will produce only 5% of bottleneck

I don't trust the bottleneck calculator much after this. This is with the Intel HD 620 graphics selected on the i5 7200U.

It appears so. Though I lucked out with this 7200U. It performs better than my wife's i7 7600U.
