Since this is a hardware thread, I have to share my latest purchase:

CPU: Quad Core 1.2GHz Broadcom BCM2837 64bit
RAM: 1GB @ 400MHz
GPU: Broadcom VideoCore IV @300(3D)/400MHz(Video)
Storage: Sandisk Ultra 64GB µSD Class 10
Cooling: Ultimate Dual Fan cooling
PSU: 14W µUSB
Case: Retroflag NESPi
I/O: 2 x 8Bitdo N30 Pro
Display: TV via HDMI

Once you have read through all the hardware and stopped laughing, you must already have a picture of what I'm building.

All hardware cost me less than $100 delivered.

One may wonder what this has to do with Windows!? Well it runs Windows 10 IoT, but I will go for Linux. I will also overclock CPU to 1.4-1.5GHz and RAM to at least 500MHz. :)

One may also wonder why I did not go for something more aggressive, like Asus Tinker Board. Well though ATB is twice as fast, I will not be able to get the system working as intended, so I have to settle for less, which is more than enough for my purposes anyways.

I do wonder how the hot air gets out of the case. I don't see any case fans.
