My wife went into emergency surgery last night. Looks like I may be returning my 8th Gen build to cover the lack of her income till she can go back to work in late January. Not a fun Christmas season.
Very sorry to hear that Copiertech. My best wishes to you and your Wife.

I installed the MB and PSU today and that`s enough, my back is screammin, this is a really nice case :) and it gives you a lot of options for the radiator. And you can mount any hard drives on the other side and totally clear out the front.

I may just get a Thermaltake radiator for it and put the new Corsair H115i in the Z170 box. I have to buy the ribbon cable if I want to install the GPU vertically, but the hardware is there to mount it if I want to.

Sorry about the sideway pictures, just tilt your head to the left

Looking good guys, would it be possible that you could show a shot of the other side of the case?
I'd like to get an idea of how much room theses cases have, between the frame and panel, for cable management.

    Hi,
I think my Corsair H110i GT just died
On a restart went to a bios flash screen with thermal overheating and use F1 got there and it showed 84c
Odd was using CoreTemp was showing 20 to 25c all morning even before restart :/
I did take this image before all this happened
Anything pop out as this 98c reading shows

You're CPU is showing max 29°C.
What is that sensor you highlighted, VRM temp?

    Hi,

Can you check using HWMonitor ?
I doubt the cooler is toast but no idea what's getting so hot.

    Cheers,

Mike, as I recall there have been several conversations on sevenforums about those values.. I seem to remember there are about 3 values which mean nothing and are always invalid.

    Hi,
    Thanks
The only value that is true is bios is freaking out over temps saying 84c and freezing there
I have to hard shutdown with the power button and disconnect power

This all happened after using HWInfo64 so I'm not likely to use that bugger again
So either I managed to get my bios corrupt without actually flashing them a long time ago
Or the above utility hosed something
I'm leaning to a hosed cpu cooler but the screen shot shows otherwise.

I removed the cpu and reinstalled
It lasted a few minutes in bios where I was attempting set from auto to manual vcore to 1.100v to limit it
But wasn't long enough before it showed 84c again and froze :/

Thanks guys. My poor wife is on bed rest for a few days. It's a hard season. We lost our ability to have our own children but I'm thankful they got rid of the tumor she had. Now for a full recovery and hope shes pain free from now on.
