Mike I don't game so I would never touch a monitor, or Tv for that matter, that has a TN screen, but if this monitor is just for gaming, it is the better choice than an IPS(best for everything else): TN Vs. IPS Which is Better for Gaming? | Best USB Powered Monitor

Problem with IPS displays with GSync is DEAD Pixels .....which seems to happen a lot with any brand of an IPS Monitor. And if your spending over 600 to 700+ for a IPS GSync monitor, you could end up sending it back before you get a good one. I've been reading reviews on them for about a year so far....

If you're not gaming, why do you want to use G-Sync?
I'm just curious, not being snide(I know how something written can come across different than spoken:))

Back light bleed is also very common on all brands. G Sync you can turn on or off, but no sense paying for it if you don't need it. But at that price, who can complain a lot.

Just that my 1080Ti comes with GSync and cost me a fortune .....would like to be able to use it. Monitor I would prefer is made by ASUS ....but its a 50/50 crap shoot on weather you get one dead pixel

Mike, Dell makes some excellent monitors. Look it up a few other places to see the reviews. But, they do make some of the better monitors.

I've been doing that already for about a year now Steve, and on Best Buys site, it has the most reviews and gets high ratings. 571 reviews, almost 5 stars ....for a G-Sync
