    Oh, I would, I would, because I find this benchmark very interesting but the source file is not mine so I hesitate...

    Anyway, can you please answer me the following? :)

    - Is your system overclocked, and if so, what's your max CPU and Uncore (cache) frequencies?
    - What is your version of Office (Excel), and is it 32 bit or 64 bit?
    - What are your primary RAM timings?

    I trust that your System Specs are fully updated.

    - Do you happen to know something similar for MS Word and Access?

    Thank you, and sorry for the off-topic :)

    Posting a source link to OCnet would be fine

    Isn't PC mark 8 pretty much an office (not MS office) applications test, with Photoshop, Adobe, graphics and MS office tests? You know, the one we all hate to run?

    Yes, and it takes forever, not a minute-3 minutes

    I think one of the issues with PCMark 8 is you are supposed to have the programs they are testing installed, ie if they are testing Photoshop you need photoshop installed. I think it will still run, you just won't like the score. :)

    Yeah, I have never been a fan of PCMark. I think they actually use a version of open office or libre that is built in with the bench

    One reason some may dislike PCMark is it doesn't pay homage to the GPU. This is a more an overall system test than a GPU test.

    That said, I could never get PCMark 10 to run under my previous install. With a clean install of FCU, I might give it another go sometime soon.

    @Dude,

    Thanks for your info (on your system). I don't think I'll start a new benchmark topic on my own, but here are my results. The screenshots provide all the required information. I am running a per-core OC of x48 x49 x50 x50, cache (uncore) x44

    :)

    Note: the same benchmark takes 23 - 24 seconds on my KDE Neon installation...
