OK there is hope yet, I`ll you know what EK has to say.
On my Apex VI board there were two screws holding the entire mosfet vrm coolers on. The monoblock goes on with 4 standard mounts that on my board go right through to the back of the board and screw on from there. No back plate required. You also use the two screw holes to tighten the top of the monoblock down on the vrm's.
Be awhile until I get my cpu.
I'll probably change out the PSU, M.2 SSD, setup the AIO(I can always switch it to the new board after I get the 8700K), and swap out my MSI GTX1080 AERO 8OC for the Zotac 1080Ti, so at least most of the software and drivers for them get installed now, so when I swap out the boards, everything will be easier.
Well EK got back to me already, and they will not be making mono blocks for the Asus TUF X299 Mark 1 or Mark 2 so I said wth and asked them why not.
But these are the models they have so far.

It`s no big deal to me, right now my H115i is doing a fine job.
This is the X299 with W7 installed and a 4.8 OC
Since it will be awhile for the CPU Cliff, can I try out the Thermaltake cooler for you ?????
