Yep, I have prepared Windows Server 2012 R2 on a VM and then deployed the installation to a physical HDD multiple times. And finally plugged those HDDs in some random desktop computer. Has worked like a charm every time. Takes a while to populate all new drivers though and might seem like Windows is stuck. But all is well after about 10-30minutes depending on hardware.

Doing this on Windows 10 should not be that different.

Ok when I turn it on and boot to Windows the first time, I'll put my coffee(waiting on the Coffee lake) and take a shower then:)

Tommy, the price mentioned for the Kingpin Hybrid is the same as for a Titan. That puts a kink in the price to performance charts. But the Kingpin is usually made for LN2 and benchmarking. I don't know how good they are in gaming. For that much money, I'd take the Titan any day.

Not that I am aware of. There is the commemorative version or whatever they call it, but as far as I am aware, it is the same Titan XP, just a little more dressed up version. I have no doubt that when Volta is released there will be another Titan, but I have no clue when that will be.

My main point was that if I was going to pay $1200 for a graphics card, it would be for the Titan, not a TI.
