I'm gonna have to wait a while on mine

I have vacation until the 12th of December, it would really be nice to have everything finished before then, but being me, and my luck, it'll come on the 13th, my first day back at work.

    Intel Management Engine Interface drivers

Nope Mine was updated by MSI quite a while ago.
The ME is also by manufacturer and not just an intel generic.
You guys might want to check you motherboard vendor again as I just saw today they posted the updated Intel Management Engine drivers for my Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Gaming 8 Motherboard. Version number 11.7.0.1045....

Nothing online, through MSI Live Update app, or even Device Manager, here.

I don't know what Gigabyte is doing here because the version number they list is not the installed version number (11.7.0.1045)....

Also have an issue where their Intel IRST drivers (install version number 15.9.0.105) is crashing my system with an unsigned driver error. Had to remove them and go with Intel's still official 15.8.1.1007. Again, not sure what Gigabyte is thinking but their IME driver version doesn't match what gets installed. And now their latest IRST driver release crashes my system

I have started my search for the new case I will eventually buy, maybe next year(at that time some sleeved cables too).
For thermals one of the best:
    Silverstone SST-RL06BR-GP Redline Midi-Tower, TG - schwarz/rot
    SilverStone Technology Co., Ltd.INTRODUCTION:RL06

But it doesn't have the newest USB generation on the front, but that's no big deal as I only need USB for making offline system image backups of all disks, or when updating my Macrium recovery drive.
I really want a case with good thermals, and Gamers Nexus has listed this in the top for a while: SilverStone Redline RL06 Case Review - High-Performance Mid-Tower | GamersNexus - Gaming PC Builds Hardware Benchmarks
