Got it. But your comments make clear you don't see any board being worth more than $250.00 bucks. That's fine, but what threw me is when you further stated others are throwing money away spending more than $250 bucks....

That's kind of like smacking people over the head for going over "your" suggested threshold

    Anyway it's all good :)

    Peace
As long as you understood what i meant it's all gravy

Also i can't really complain about exotic boards when i have spent almost $2000.00 in G-sync monitors

    Hi,
Yep I discarded the loosing data bit I gathered that from the rog forum post about is it worth using :)

I don't really see how I direct a benchmark to that disk which would actually be a partition
Could you give a few more details
Performance test 9 in particular it is the thorn in my backside

When I set up a ram drive it is assigned a drive letter just like any other drive in the system. This drive then shows up in the drop down menu in the "drive under test" option. Second from the top.

Steve has been helping me on deciding what parts I want to order for my next build.

Well today I made my decision(s) and placed my order to Caseking, and went to the bank to transfer the money(just now).
I ordered the bottom list separately because it may take a while until I get the CPU, but the other stuff might be here by the end of the month, as they wait until everything for one order is there, before shipping it out, and the Maximus X Hero should be on hand by the 24th of November.

    For the CPU:
In German "delidded" is called "geköpft", which literally translated into english is "decapitated"

Yep, originally I just wanted a newer/ better motherboard for my 6700k, but Steve convinced me it's already pretty much EOL So I started comparing: Compare Products

At first I thought about an X series, but decided the 8700K and it's 6 cores are enough and cheaper, so I put some of the saved money into getting not only a pre-delidded version, but one where the IHS is honed down flat, for a better connection/seal between the heat sink and the CPU, and also a much better board.

    Thanks Andrew:)

When I have decided on which case I'll buy next too(next year though), if I decide on an open case like I jokingly said would be Steve's next one, then I'll need to get a AIO CLC for it too.(I really like this case, more like platform would be a better word for it)
