That is my current mobo. It is a beauty for sure. Those Dimm2 slots for Nvme drives are awesome. I have two 950's mounted on the cpu dimm2 slot and with a fan blowing across the dimm2 slots and ram, and vrms the 950's are running in the mid 20's for temps.

Bios is your typical awesome Asus bios :)

A feature rich board to be sure guys.
Sounds great. Thanks for the update. All the specs on the board sound top of the line. An overclocking board for sure. Thanks for the confirmation.

I won't be installing a monster CPU like you have. I haven't won the lottery yet. :) How is that CPU for gaming? Does it take a hit at all? Just curious.

For gaming, he could just set an OC profile in BIOS and shut down the extra cores, and see if he could clock higher with 4 or 6(depending if he wants to stream or not), then use that, for benching can always use the current profile. Or?

    Hi,
Sort of why I hate corsair psu's
    EVGA all the way baby
They have way better wiring and don't pigtail wires like corsair seems to do to the psu
evga give on a 8 wire plug 8 wires
Corsair on a 8 wire plug only uses 6 and pigtails the other 2
May not make a difference but to me that is sort of chickenshit wiring practice :)
All I care about is that the total thickness of all the wires is enough. If it's 4 x 12v + 4 x GND or 1 x 12V + 1 x GND makes no difference. Another thing is that if one connection out of 4 12V fail then the remaining 3 cables must be capable of handling the added current, or in the worst case scenario, one single wire must be capable of 4 x current draw, or the cable will burn, resulting in the whole computer blowing up ("PUFF, and there comes the magic smoke!") :)

Think you would love the board. Anyone who does any overclocking will find it has so many awesome features.

Pretty much done with BF1 now. I would imagine that would be one of the more taxing games out right now. Playing the new Wolfenstein game and COD WWll right now. All settings maxed out with ease.

No worries about me playing a game and streaming at the same time. My most crappy internet connection would never allow it. I live outside the city and no fiber connection for me. There are times when I can't play any online game because it is so slow. That's what Wolfenstein is for :)

Sure, but that is not the whole truth. And computers is not the only thing needing electricity. ;-)

If you get more than 16 and less than a 100 ping, you are doing great
