God I hope I don't screw this up
The fan headers will be a pain.

You'll be just fine Cliff, take your time, and for me it was the wiring that was a pain.

    Thanks for the encouragement Mike

I just went through both manuals and compared what I have hooked up on the MSI now, to what the ASUS has, and ticked off on the schematic what I need to connect.(You could say a cheat sheet).

Wait till you get it all together Cliff, and then go into your Asus Bios .....and see all the new settings you got.

Oops, plus I need to turn this machine off, let it cool down, and switch to my laptop.

A good idea to check out if all fans are working and such before booting machine is to unplug 24 pin power to mobo and use the short out method to run everything except mobo. I use one these all the time when filling rads and such.

FrozenCPU 24-pin Power Supply Jump Start Connector - FrozenCPU.com

You can also do it with a pice of wire or paper clip. Connect any green and black wire for power on. Quick google search can show you if not familiar with this.

Looking great Cliff. Hope ya got a great clocker bud.

    Thanks for the tip.
What's cool is, they even gave the Vcore I need for the 24/7 5 GHz(1.39 volts)which is lower than the 1.45 I needed for the 6700K on air and AIO.
