Yeah, its marked down by 200 bucks, also over 100 bucks cheaper than amazon .....I donno Steve, I'm still debating it.
That may be the same one I was looking at. If it is, it gets good reviews and that is a good pice. It goes way up and down on Amazon. It can be $425 one day and $600 the next.

    Nothing to be sorry about.
You could do a search on YouTube: g-sync monitors for 2017 reviews - YouTube
and see if there are any reviews on monitors, and G-Sync...
I did that when I was selecting the stuff I ordered.
Or a search: g-sync monitors for 2017 reviews - Bing

Mike I don't game so I would never touch a monitor, or Tv for that matter, that has a TN screen, but if this monitor is just for gaming, it is the better choice than an IPS(best for everything else): TN Vs. IPS Which is Better for Gaming? | Best USB Powered Monitor
I haven't used a TN paneled monitor in years and it hasn't affected my gaming one bit. I'm currently using a 24 inch NEC professional monitor which features an AH-IPS panel and I have no issues with lagging or ghosting. On the other hand I don't play racing sims where this issue "might" show up. BTW its response time is 8ms; still no issues.

AUO or AO is a company(AU Optronics) that made a lot of the cruddy HDTV LCD panels. It's not a type.
But if you want a good list and information on the various types, look here: LCD -matrices,differences and what models are placed | AVForums
It's the most thorough for LCD, for example there are actually many types of IPS.
This is where I learned the basics on screen calibration and setting.
