Can someone offer some advice please?

Before I start seriously considering the below parts for my upgrade of an obsolete motherboard

    Intel Core i7 8700 Coffee Lake 3.2GHz 6-Core
Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E Coffee Lake ATX LGA1151
    HyperX FURY 16GB (2x 8GB) 2400MHz DDR4 RAM

    Hi,
    Memory looks a little low
Minimum might be best at 3200 instead of 2400.

Some hardware porn for you "Custom Loopers".
I learned about this Primochill Vue originally from JayzTwoCents, but I love watching this stuff in B-roll slowmo, no matter who presents it
    https://www.primochill.com/collectio...-unique-visual
By the way, this stuff not only keeps your loop clean, it also cleans out the gunk from previous liquids, like what gets stuck in the fins inside of the heat sink.

    Hi,
The universal memory speed for processor and mother board is 2666 so it would be the rock bottom I would use
Otherwise 3200 c14 would be best c15 or c16 will also work too if you can't find c14.

Tom Logan(from OC3D) keeps saying in his videos, that the "sweet spot" for the Z370 boards(even the very high end ones) is 3200 - 3600MHz. Any higher is diminishing returns, and a fight for stability, 3000MHz is okay too, but any lower is not recommended, so like ThrashZone said 3200

Thanks, I’ll start my hunt for the 3200MHz
    Anything else needs changing?

As best as I can tell, everything else looks good. If you're not partial to one particulat brand of ram, you may want to take a look at this.
    G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C14D-16GTZ - Newegg.com

It's 3200 Mhz ram with timings of 14-14-14-34, about as good timings as you are going to get, I think.

Only thing I might add is if at all possible get the sellers in store... warranties with the hardware
Easier than dealing with asus or Intel...
