Intel is never cheap when they come out with new tech. Samsung has new drives coming out pretty soon I think to rival the 900P. Sure bet they will be cheaper as well.
Yeah I do agree with that, but I'm also looking at gig per dollar. It seems it'll be higher for Optane. That even when Samsung comes out with their version, it'll still be higher priced because it's Optane based.

Samsungs is not going to be Optane based, that is I think proprietary to Intel for now. Their's is fourth gen V nand.

    Hi,
    Finally got a new keyboard
And ups was kind enough to delay the shipment for an extra couple days and ups was lined up this morning when I went to pick it up :)
    45 minutes :/
Getting used to it took a while just to get it to show one color for the most part
    And yes it's green

    RE ALL of the above:

I just got done talking to @Kari for about an hour, and he informed me that the above method is broken in Windows 10.
But the good news is, just swapping the disk into the new system is all I'll need to do, without the fancy stuff, here is what he told me to do:

1.Transfer disk from old to new system build.

2 .Let Windows update all drivers, check device manager to make sure no X's or bangs, also reinstall any special OEM drivers I may need, as Windows will replace them with generic defaults, like the M.2 driver, Audio, LAN, IRST, ME and so on.

    3. Lastly- Run the activation trouble shooter.

    Thanks Kari:)

Exactly what i did and it found my copy and activated it

So actually they have made it easier to do then:)
@solarstarshines and @Kari, I just had a "Duuuuuh AHA!" moment
The reason that just transferring the disk to new hardware works(for the activation part, I mean, not the drivers) is, if you use your Microsoft account, and not a local account, the key or digital license is connected to that account and not the hardware

Then to get rid of the mobo & cpu(the device) I can just follow these steps: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...egister-device

If you don’t have your device anymore

    For Windows Phone:
    • Consider erasing your device info with Find My Phone before removing it.
    • Go to account.microsoft.com/devices.
    • Select Remove, and follow the instructions on the screen.

    For Windows 10 PC:

Wow, I got a lot of updates today pertaining to my 6700K's SGX?!

Intel® Software Guard Extensions (Intel® SGX) provide applications the ability to create hardware enforced trusted execution protection for their applications’ sensitive routines and data. Run-time execution is protected from observation or tampering by any other software (including privileged software) in a system.

I downloaded the reg files, as soon as Shawn posted the tutorial. I even made shortcuts and icons for them, and have them in the desktop toolbar on the taskbar
