    DEEPCOOL Tech Support Experience

Last Aug 2016, I purchased a Deepcool Genome case from Newegg.
    This one:
    [IMG][/IMG]

It came with a built-in 360 liquid cooler.

    Attachment 164645

And the cooler died earlier this month (after more than a year).

So I sent an email to Deepcool support site and I got a reply (from Hong Kong tech support) the next day asking for photos of the "dead" cooler. I also sent them a video link just to give them a better understanding of the problem. Then I got a reply that a replacement cooler will be sent (coming from California, USA) . That's it. Everything is done in a few days. Then after a week I got the replacement cooler.
Deepcool tech support is so easy to deal with.

Now my system is back and running again...
    Attachment 164647

And while it was down, I had a chance to deep clean everything... haha...

    That's great customer service

    Hi,
Steve all I had on my old Acer 7 & 10 installs were generic drivers anyway so it was pretty easy
The only so called exotic driver was NVidia's :)

Never go wrong with a fresh install. Any chip or mobo change I always do a fresh install.

I agree. Getting a new system is the best excuse to start from scratch. I can't think of a better time to start fresh again... :)

Wow this guy said what i've said for a minute people who bought into Z270 got burned
Meh... anybody can post an opinion so. Anyway I certainly don't feel burned with my Z270 / 7700K purchase. It's easy to quarterback when you know the future results after said future has passed. Some may look back and opine Z370 / 8700K users got burned. That's life in the tech world

I think it only applies to those who upgrade every year. Otherwise, I won't worry for a while and get the latest one when it's time for another system.

I actually upgraded from a Z170 / 6700K to a Z270 / 7700K, but it was more about a failing Z170 board followed by an improved Z270 board layout and yeah, wanting the 7700K. That said, I knew there wasn't going to be any real performance gains between the two there.

At any rate I get your point and from that respect, one I don't necessarily disagree with on the year to year purchase. Had I to do it all over again, I would have just went with the Z270 and 7700K right out the gate.

I can say the Z270 brought out optane but still not really needed if you wanted to upgrade the backward compatible feature is what really sold the Z270

I should of bothered to find out can the last Gen work on current Z370

Nope Click image for larger version.
