It does look like a stapler
M16 is also a stapler but at distance.

@worf105 do you see gains OCing the cache?
Only small gains not really worth it but every Little helps.

I have been doing the cache just about since I started OCing over 4.5GHz.
I didn't get any gains myself, just a slightly more stable overclock/system at the higher multiplier and Vcore setting.

Okay, I asked because for me having a higher cache usually needs just a little more vcore. I leave cache at default

Celeron just means they use less voltage, and have lower clocks, for longer battery life, and run cooler.

Yeah. I just didn't realize they still sold them. That's cool though. Would be an excellent buy for a cheap PC to surf the net and do email.

Many quite new models of NAS-devices, small servers and similar boxes use Celeron CPUs. more than enough for most tasks.

OFC I need an 8th Generation i7 for my NAS or a couple of 24-core Xeons, but that is a different story.

Not to sure about my 8700K preformance.

I now have it running the following for 24/7 daily operations (Bios Version 0420):

    4800MHz Core
    4600MHz Cache
    1.3 volts (Adaptive)
    AVX Offset = 3
    3200MHz 14-14-14-31-1T 1.35V (XMP)
    MCE on
    CPU LLC = Level 6
    CPU Power phase = Standard
    Intel Speed Step = On
    Turbo Mode = On
    IA AC = 0.01
    IA DC = 0.01
    CPU C-States = Enabled (C3, C6, C7 [CPU C7], C8 all enabled)
Package State Limit = CPU Default
    CGF = Disabled

    NZXT Kraken X62
    Fan profile = Silent
    Pump profile = Silent

Max temps while running P95 (26.6) and IBT is around 60 +/- Degrees
    Cinebench score is 1600+

Gaming and system as a whole looks to be good and stable but will continue to test as time goes on. Each BIOS update will continue to fine tune.
Update with BIOS Version: 0430: (all fan settings are the same)

    4800MHz Core / 4800HMz
    4600MHz Cache / Default
    1.3 volts (Adaptive) / 1.29v Adaptive + off set 0.045 = 1.335v (CPU-Z reads at AVX load 1.344 - 1.36v max)
    AVX Offset = 3 / 0 off set
    3200MHz 14-14-14-31-1T 1.35V (XMP) / Same
    MCE on / Same
    CPU LLC = Level 6 / Level 5
CPU Power phase = Standard / Same
    / CPU Current Capacity = 140%

Intel Speed Step = On // Same
Turbo Mode = On // Same
    IA AC = 0.01 // Same
    IA DC = 0.01// Same
    CPU C-States = Enabled (C3, C6, C7 [CPU C7], C8 all enabled) / / Same
Package State Limit = CPU Default // Same
    CGF = Disabled / Same

Due to the AVX off set now being set to 0 (Zero) the temps are a little higher running AVX stress tests but still maxed out are around 70 +/- Ran RealBench for 2 hours and system preformed admirably with maxs temps of 70 +/- (78 peak spike)
