    Hi,
Yeah it's the hydro series so I returned one that didn't quite work well on the 7900x

Boy corsair jumps back and forth don't they
On the cpu block the hoses on the h110i gt came out the side
The h115i came out the top
Now they went back to out the side lol

I noticed Steve on his build picture has the block sideways so it's not too close to the ram
Was that really necessary Steve or was it a feels better approach ?
Mike, on the Apex board they intentionally put the ram slots extremely close to the CPU socket. Supposedly for better ram overclocking and a few other things. The Hoses on the H105 come out the side right next to the ram. If I try to put the block on straight, the hoses are actually pushing against the ram, something I was not very excited about. So I turned it. If you look closely at that board, you will see how close the ram is to the CPU socket. I knew that when I bought it, so I'm not complaining just explaining.

    Hi,
I kind of asked for an explanation Steve
Darn hoses are never quite long enough
I noticed the same thing on the h115i when mounted on the front of my case.
Not quite as bad as you say but definitely the hoses were in a bind on the block as a result and it was tough to get the block installed when it wanted to twist.
I think I too mounted it like you did letters vertical

Hey Steve, one thing that came to mind, while looking at other cases, at least with the In Win 303, I can see my Riing Floe RGB fans in all their colored glory(as they face outward on the side), specially when running some of the really cool RGB effects, like cross, ripple, or any of the 3 sound control options

Mike, on my board, where the block screws in, there is about 1/8" between the block and the ram slots.

On my current board you cannot see any daylight between ram sticks. Closest I have ever seen it. And the Dimm1 slot is actually touching the outside of the ram stick.

Yep, that's it, except I only have 2 ram slots.

New Udate for Corsair Link Released Today. v4.9.4.28.

    Changelog:

Hardware playback restored for SP RGB fans, HD RGB fans, ML RGB fans, and RGB strips.

    Bug Fixes:

Fixed situations where leaving Corsair LINK running for 3+ days will result in high CPU usage.

    Known Issues:

Users connecting Lighting Node PRO or AXi USB dongle to Commander PRO USB hub may experience detection issues if Commander PRO is connected to an AMD chipset or ASMedia USB controller. (Fix ongoing.)
CPU core numbering may not report correctly for some users. (Fix ongoing.)
Extra fans may appear under motherboard info after Link is left running over an extended period of time. (Fix ongoing.)
Systems with AMD graphics cards may report one extra graphics card. (Fix ongoing.)
Mechanical hard disks may not enter sleep state. (Fix ongoing.)
Changing profiles does not change DRAM lighting. (Scheduled to be fixed in next release.)
LL RGB fans will require the Corsair LINK software to function. This is a limitation of the Lighting Node PRO and Commander PRO hardware.
CPUs with more than 16 cores will not report all cores. This is a limitation of Corsair LINK being a 32-bit application.

In case anyone was wondering why I built the system I did, even though I do not game(like a friend of mine at work asked me), at the link are two wallpapers I made today(actually one, and for the second I just changed the hue of the first), to get the effect for the background behind the ROG logo, I used "Solidify" in GIMP, that changes the alpha channel(transparency) to the effect you see.

It took over 20 minutes using all 12 threads at 5GHz. I even needed to ramp up my fans to keep it well under 50C during the processing. In that time I drank a coffee and took a shower until it finished.

    This is a nice case!
For air intake you can open the door on the front easily, when running benchmarks, to maximize airflow(then shut it for day to day quiet usage), and it has placement for fans and radiators, of different sizes, out the yang:
