Help with overclocking Phenom II X6

    Hey guys.

So I know I've previously had a lot of BSOD trouble but it seems my system is stable again. The purpose of this thread is that I'd like some help to start overclocking my CPU again. Get a little more out of it, y'know? The highest OC I've achieved on this CPU (stable) was 4.42GHz. The stock speed is 3.21GHz.

    Current info from CPU-Z:

    HWMonitor Info:
    HWMonitor.txt

I'd like my CPU clocked from 3.21GHz to 3.8GHz. I don't really care much about Turbo Boost so that can be disabled. I just need some help with what to set. I've not OC'd for a long time so I'm a little rusty on what should be set to what.

It's hard to say because those chips are sort of ancient have you tried looking for some guides ?

They aren't that "ancient". Ancient would be more than 20 years old, but your opinion is appreciated. :)

Seems stable at 3.5GHz. I didn't really want to up the voltage more to a higher clock speed as it'd eat too much power.

When i had the Phenom II x6 it came pre OC to 3.7 GHz in a bundle deal from Aria.co.uk. I Had to do a BIOS update to resolve a SSD SATA problem and it was only able to achieve 3.5 GHz stable with the voltages previous to the update (can't remember what those were). Left it at that speed as it was a great preforming chip at that OC.

Still got a Phenom II 1090T x6 in an old PC most I got it to overclocking was 3.9 settled on 3.5 though, the floppy drive ceased working at 3.9, worked well at 3.5 for games with a GTX680, don't ask what settings it was a long time ago, now used as a spare Win10 / Linux box.

Is my CPU voltage for this clock speed correct or too much?
