The only thing I can is the boards I've used 4 modules on needed them as a pair in Slot 1 and 3 and a pair in Slot 2 and 4. And for best performance it helps to set the BIOS as Dual-channel. The boards I've installed came set by Default as Single-channel, same for OEM machines that had only 1 RAM module, adding a second or more required the change to Dual-channel. Also, memory will work only at the lowest speed modules installed, matched pairs always best.

EDIT: didn't see the previous post in time.

Sorry, that bit of sarcasm was aimed at Gigabyte, not anyone trying to help me.

Your ram is at 2133, the speed shown in your cpuz needs to be multiplied by 2 for real speed

Happened to me this morning too, after it posted, I was on a new page, that I had not noticed before, so embarrassed deleted it immediately.

Although to ramp up the MHz, he might want to switch to the High Performance power option, and maybe run a benchmark, or a power virus(like prime95).

I have never done benchmarking before, never had a reason to.

I've never really had the reason to use CPU-Z before, either. I didn't know you needed to do that for the reading. I thought it was supposed to read what the memory rating was.
