20 seconds would be faster than most, even with SSD. Mine takes about 25 or 30, with a 3 year old 120 GB SSD. Used to take about 70 seconds with a regular HDD.
Not sure where you got the idea of 10 minutes.
Does your current weak machine take anywhere near 10 minutes? Hard to believe unless it is ultra weak. I dunno what you have.
I'd guess the average PC made in the last 6 or 8 years with an HDD not an SSD will boot Windows in 1 to 2 minutes. A few quicker, maybe a few longer. Over 3 minutes would be extremely rare unless something is haywire.
You can easily find out how much RAM you are using at any moment. You don't have to guess.
