Unless I got something wrong, I found this on your Motherboard's site Support For B350M GAMING PRO | Motherboard - The world leader in motherboard design | MSI Global

    Code:
    G.Skill F4-2666C15D-16GRR DDR4 2666 2667 SK hynix 1.2V DS 8GB √ √
Which I am under the understanding is the same ram, the 16GRR is a 16 GB kit and the 8 GRR is an 8 GB kit, but the same ram. Is that not correct Drew?

Yes, what I am saying is I think it is the exact same ram, just the size of the modules are different. In other words either one will work.

Maybe @sygnus21 has a different idea, but I would try it. I believe it is the same thing as listed on your Motherboard's web site, just different size but the same model. I do know the Ryzen boards have had memory compatibility issues. I thought that some, if not all, of those issues had been worked out with BIOS updates. Make sure to update to the latest bios.

Only Asus boards i know of resolved the memory issue
I have crucial Ballistic Sport 3000mhz i can only run 2666 any higher it won't boot

There is a feature in the bios that allows you to get it higher but the returns are small AM4 advanced Boot Training off gives you a higher clocks to play with

The memory you have is Gskill it should work fine but like Steve is saying not listed and here is the minimal Ram rating F4-2666C15Q-16GRR

The best ram for Ryzen is AMD Flare X https://www.amazon.com/G-SKILL-288-Pin-Desktop-Memory-F4-2400C16D-16GFX/dp/B06XGF89CB/ref=sr_1_6/133-3693318-4909144?ie=UTF8&qid=1505422182&sr=8-6&keywords=amd+ram+memory

My attitude is if the RAM is a different size (density), but same make and model, then it "should" be good. My point regarding my other post is if the RAM isn't listed I wouldn't use it. There have been reports of issues where early Ryzen systems didn't play well certain RAM modules. This is why in this case I would pay attention to the QVL list. I'd also keep my receipt available in case there's an issue with density (4gig modules vs. 2gig modules for example). However I don't think size would be an issue, but...
