    Any solid state memory, be it SSDs or RAM, used or new, will be pretty expensive for quite a while.

    I upgraded my acer's memory but still have the original 2x2gb's should be the same as the upgraded crucial
    acer wg43m mainboard specs

    Germany is a little more expensive than the states for PC components, but this year the RAM prices are also pretty high, at about €10, per Gigabyte, and even more for the kits.

    Yeah, I'm in the states so prices outside there doesn't mean a whole lot to me unless I'm reviewing world wide prices for other reasons. That said, nice to have reference points though.
