Yeah, I'm in the states so prices outside there doesn't mean a whole lot to me unless I'm reviewing world wide prices for other reasons. That said, nice to have reference points though.

    Thanks.
    You're welcome:)

    Just a quick request here:

Any one know where I could get my hands on some DDR3 ECC UDIM PC3-12800 RAM for free
I just remembered I have two extra sticks of:
    RMR5030EF68F9W-1600 Ramaxel 4GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL11 240-Pin DIMM 1.35V Low Voltage Single Rank Memory Module
    RMR5030EF68F9W-1600 Ramaxel 4GB DDR3 PC12800 Memory
    Ramaxel RMR5030EF68F9W-1600 4GB DDR3 1600MHz Desktop RAM
    Welcome To the Ramaxel Website

from when I upgraded the RAM on my Lenovo from 8GB to 16GB(for using Virtual Machines).

    It's actually OEM memory, but....

yea its possible to get them via work, particularly if they have servers as ECC is used in that scenario.

This was the old back up server from work. Planning a server upgrade soon so I should be able to get my grubby hands on some memory.
