Try reseating the 4 pin, and 24 pin first before making the effort of pulling out case. If no luck, place the board on a nonconductive service such as the MB box. Yes the PSU needs plugged into the wall socket

I have a ATX powersuply, that making a "tiking" sound i can't lacate what it is. my first though was capacitor. and maybe not.
The weird this is it's only sometimes when i power on the computer.
any wise ideas?

I have a Lenovo pc with i7-6700 cpu, gtx 1050ti graphics card, 1 hdd, 1 ssd, dvd writer and built in sound chip, wi-fi, Bluetooth and lan and 400 watts psu. I feel that the psu seem to be a bottle neck and want to upgrade my psu. Any recommendation ?
I have a Corsair CX750M PSU.. These units remain on even after shutting down my system so, should I flip the switch off when I'm not using it or, is it safe to leave that switch on? Thanks!
