Remember how our mother's would lick their thumbs, or spit in a napkin/tissue and wipe something from our faces?

Ronsonol Lighter Fluid works great, just don't light a match close by.

I would never put lighter fluid near my cpu To make cleaning easier I have the computer running, shut it down and remove while its still warm, comes off with no effort just wiping with Toilet paper

Always better when its still warm. Still remember when cold pulling the CPU right out the socket many years ago (OLD AMD) and was very lucky not to damage any of them
