    That is the replacement EVGA G3 1000W PSU here now. Testing now and not the slightest of sounds from within. Even with the fan on (Eco mode Off) still extremely inaudible. Looks as if I will be doing this at the weekend.

    I am retired Andrew, everyday is my weekend.
    In the process of doing a clean install of my Windows 10 Pro .....what a pain in the butt. I have tons of registered apps to reinstall.

    That's the PSU transplant done in under One hour. including cable management. A few criticisms of the EVGA G3 1000w are the cables (Motherboard 24 pin and 8 pin CPU are short, just reach my sockets with nothing to spare. the other criticism is that the UK power core supplied is of very cheap quality but not a problem as I used the one already routed to the chassis. all in all this 9/10 to EVGA on this unit.

    You might want to put some thought into other cables.(watch to end, and not just the subject of this vid)
