After installing the new PSU the next upgrade will be x299 or even going back to AMD

This is my Second ever Intel system, My first was a celeron II on a Slot 1 (I think) running at 300MHz and every other was AMD. Graphics changed between Green & Red

This system is only about 10 months old, not going to upgrade the MB yet. My next item is I need to upgrade my monitor. Looking at the ASUS brand.

I have used both AMD and Intel. There is no comparison, in my opinion. Intel is head and shoulders above AMD. Now that Ryzen has come out, that may have changed, I don't know. I really hope it has. We will benefit more than either AMD or Intel. I hope the Ryzen platform matures soon and we can really see what it is like. It is confusing that they haven't solved all of the chipset problems yet and are already coming out with a new one. Because of that and more than a few other things, I remain unconvinced. But, I hope they pull it off.
