    Thought it WAS the G2 .....G3 is IN stock on Amazon .....G2 is the one that is on back order...and cost more. Unless I missed something here

    Looking at the G2 & G3 spec sheets, not much has changed except the price. So I am better going for the G2

    Unless specifically spec'd for the new release of motherboards coming out I wouldn't get too high over PS specs between this year and last years models. Here I'd go where the price fits my budget.

    BTW there's also the P and T series which is purportedly "higher" than the G series. I've got both a P and G series PS and except for the fact that my P series PS has an Eco mode switch, unless you're running them balls to the wall, I don't think it makes any real difference power efficiency. At least nothing that's going to severely impact your electricity bill.

    Which ever one you choose they are both really good. The one I was talking about was the G2 which is back ordered. But BOTH are very good choices Andrew. :)
