Windows 10: Ageing Power supply

    Both as far as I can tell would be fine for the upcoming x299 platform. Is this correct? (just checking)

    BTW there's also the P and T series which is purportedly "higher" than the G series. I've got both a P and G series PS and except for the fact that my P series PS has an Eco mode switch, unless you're running them balls to the wall, I don't think it makes any real difference power efficiency. At least nothing that's going to severely impact your electricity bill.

    Yes budget is very important so the cheapest will win. Will have a look around until end of month and see if any deals pop up.
