    Panel type: TN / IPS / Other TFT/LCD [yes, it's 7 years old but I love it]
    G Sync: Yes/No nope

    Wouldn't recommend w/o a lot more info, such as what kind of games [ fps, rts, mmorpg, etc]
    how big is the budget?
    what psu have you got?
    good cooling?
    etc

    Yes I sort of would it is a pretty good GSync monitor it just has a sloppy power adapter I just tied it together prior I was just giving a heads up to it quality but price wise it's a tough thing to beat newegg does have periodic sells of them last was about 350,us :)

    My other monitor is 24" not GSync but is still 144Hz and was pretty cheap asus
    But it does have very good color I believe Steve also has 1 or 2 of them too just the 27"

    Thank for all your replies. Bought the Dell S2716DG as it's got G Sync and great reviews.

    Never would of considered a dell monitor personally :)
    Let us know what type of ports it comes with all it stated was 1 hdmi
