no error messages here about lack of RAM at all Mike, thanks for the update. I was told by the rig builders that 16 GB was plenty, but I have two spare slots for another 16 if I want it.
Just check memory usage while running your most RAM hungry program and you will see if more would help, faster one certainly will though.

I still can't get mine to run at rated speed and i had one Bios update

it's alright though i am not even worried i am checking periodically for a Bios update but the 1600x still chops it up pretty good @2666mhz instead of 3000Mhz

0801 BIOS although unofficial and beta version but with AGESA 1.0.0.6 now lets my 3000MHz Kingston run at 2933MHZ. As this MB doesn't have BCLK adjustments I can't get it to even 3000MHz. Gonna try today to go over 3000 although it will probably need higher voltage. Looks like the thinking that Ryzen likes higher RAM frequencies is right, without doing anything else, CPU scores went up.

I have been away on vacation in Myrtle Beach South Carolina had a small problem with the bike on the way home which had me laid up for a week or so.........

I dismantled my crosshair 6 build and just received the ASRock Taichi X370 board and will be putting this on the test bench Monday......I have three of the latest Beta BIOS's to play with......hope to have some results by mid-week to put up in a new thread.....

Thanks for asking Guys.........yeah, with all the back problems and trying to put off surgery the spinal shots just are not that much help anymore; long story short, the bike was just to difficult to hold up anymore and after a hard day of riding the back roads for close to 500 miles I dropped my ride and hit the asphalt hard.....tore some muscles in my right lower leg and some deep bruising of my ribs.....on the mend now..

I did trade my 2015 CVO Limited in and now will ride a new HD Tri-Glide trike, gonna be difficult to drop this one......LOL

The wife says after 50 years of marriage and riding behind me that on a Trike she can take point and I can ride "Bitch" now.....LOL
