Forgot you mentioned availability problems that you have........still I would spend the bare minimum to get the system up and running and just hold off until the selection improves and hopefully the availability for you also.......

If I don't find anything decent by tomorrow when I go to pick those parts, I'll grab first available module. Thing is I don't have enough spare parts like decent GPU and PSU to make whole new system parallel with this one and have only an ancient laptop to use internet so new system has to work within few hours after getting all parts.
Just downloaded everything I could find about and for MB from Asus site. There's 5 BIOS versions and bunch of drivers as well as some utilities. QVL list for processors encompasses all present and future Ryzen processors and all with 1st, original BIOS version (0404). QVL for RAM is also mile long so I probably don't have to worry abut it.
Now I have to make a startup USB with W10 (I'll start with standard Creators issue) and with all drivers and utilities unpacked in own folders.
Also going to make a USB with all BIOS update files and utility.
Should be ready to install all of that if it ever fires up. As this MB doesn't have a CMOS reset button I also readied a momentary button on an extension wire so I can reset it easier. Ah, also a beeper on a wire so I can hear post codes. Adapter for my CM Nepton 140XL CPU cooler didn't come in yet and probably will not until beginning of May so Ill just use Spire air cooler for now. That means (almost) no OC till than.

I ordered a kit from Corsair and it didn't come till two weeks after i built it

It's like above all else that is what i ordered first of anything and they failed i had to put another pump on there that had the part already Corsair is a POS for this to be honest this stuff should of been made available in the store other pumps in Microcenter had the kits for it except corsair unless you buy a brand new one

So now i am stuck with a extra pump kit because these manufacturers can't get it together

Seriously it's starting to be a pissing contest with these vendors some can get it out on time others make you wait for no good reason because of their brand name

EVGA is a good example everyone has gotten their Ti's out except them what a shame

Contacted CM, they say it will available at or after May 5th. I measured and made pattern for AM4 coolers mounts. This MB has (not so easily) removable CPU cooler back plate with threaded holes. If I don't get that kit from CM soon I can make those two small brackets easily. I also have a brand new, newer used CPU cooler from my FX 6350 which is same as for 8350 and both are rated for at least 125W of TDP.
R5 1600x is rated for 95W so that cooler should handle it without problems although any OC would be questionable and the "X" part probably wouldn't boost as much.
Now for my worst dilemma, I don't have a spare PSU good enough to run this or even my FX system so I can't even bench it without taking my FX system apart, so I can't even test it but have to go to full rebuild immediately and that may take some time because I planned a bit of "surgery" for this case (Full size Chieftek Dragon server case). All of that would leave me with only an old, lousy, single core laptop as a spare to get to internet etc. and Lumia phone I can barely see anything on let alone download anything on.
Speaking of downloads, MB came with practically unusable DVD disk so I downloaded everything I could find on ASUS site for it. All Bios versions, utilities and drivers and put them all on a USB with bootable W10 CU. Just now I cleaned up, deleted everything from and safety erased my old Kingston V300, 120GB SSD that had W7 on it so I can immediately install W10 as soon as I put it together.
I also have a bunch of older (also lousy) GPUs but have no idea which ones are working so I'll have to check them one by one. Can come handy for troubleshooting if need arises.

    G.SKILL F4-3200C14D-16GFX

One the B350 Prime I did need to play with the settings in the BIOS to get it to run at 3200........However, with the newest beta BIOS (1107) on the CrossHair VI I only had to select the first offered OC profile from within the BIOS and it immediately recognized the RAM and set it at the full speed and auto set to the correct timings.....more to come when I start the new thread....
