LOL.....Steve my friend, I retired over 7 years ago from reviewing and pretty much went into hibernation if you will......
So much has changed over the past few years it is like I have come out of a coma and have to get back up to-date and these new AMD toys seem like a good starting point to get back in the game.......
I just started a new thread regarding RAM for Ryzen.......hope this helps others.....

Well, yes. Some of us 'old timers' still do it the same old way. Every new architecture that has come out, has a few different twists and turns, some more than others. We just have to figure those out. They have come out with some new "auto overclocking" utilities, but us old guys almost never use them.
The game of making the CPU and GPU go faster than it was designed to go is exactly the same. Tactics and methods are all that changes.
