Exactly now you know why we were so hard about getting the right cooling

Also what type of paste you use when mounting the cooler ?
I bought a bag of 100 tiny syringes of thermal paste from eBay a year or 2 ago (B.D. Hardware House). If you can suggest a better thermal paste that would bring my temp down, that'd be great!

I have tried a few and I down to using Arctic 5 or MX-4.

I can't see any difference between most paste/compound.
It's kind of a long test to see which one last the longest before the temps jump.

I probable will never know because I change paste/compound to often. About once a year.
I do check the mounting screws/bolts about once a month. Sometimes they will loose a little tension on a fresh mounting..
After a while they do settle in and stay the same.

I put in my cpu, with the stock intel cooler that has the paste on it. Have never, ever, popped it off or added an external cooler or needed to use thermal paste at home.
