    Must say that the Rockit 88 tool is a extremely well designed and built peace of kit. Highly recommended

    Will check and see if the adhesive has cured enough in about an hour

    CPU in and all is good (Well great in fact) Early tests running Intel Burn In test on high shows highs at only 56 - 57 oC Max at 4.5Ghz @ 1.24v which before was over 71 oC. Maybe tomorrow will try 4.6 (1.26v), 4.7 - 4.8 (1.35 - 1.45+v) and again at 4.9 (1.50 - 1.55v)

    Prep the chip for some liquid metal goodness:







    A little goes a very long way



    very shinny stuff this and easy to go on and manipulate:





    Remove the tape to reveal a nice looking coating of liquid metal goop:



    Ready now to rebuild, Out with the re-lidding tool:



    Cover up her modesty:



    At touch of glue



    in the corners



    and clamp it for a few hours



    Job done.......
