thank you Dude.
you're awesome, man.
Thanks, good to see someone enjoying a new build like me I'm really happy with the Kaby Lake/ASUS MB combo
I just did it.
I am happy that you are enjoying your new build too.
this was my first one.
I got it totally built, and turned it on.
I had no display.
I called Asus support. the guy troubleshot it over the phone. what leds are on. try a reset. ah, no good. Motherboard bad.
sooooooo I had to get another one. this one no wifi. thats ok.
but, my liquid cooler came pre-pasted.
I had to re-paste.
that was scary, what if I do it wrong.
but I did it. after reading and watching videos...
had it all together.
oh no, the liquid cooler backplate is slanted. 2 of the screws stand offs did not go through all the way.
take it apart. clean off all the paste. (I had too much on. cleaning it was not fun.)
re-paste.
..............blah blah and extra blah..........
I learned alot though..........:)
Yeah, building can be fun. Take your time and continue watching vids or asking here if you are not sure. I feel your pain on the bad Motherboard, I got two bad ones then the third one worked
brutal.
the motherboard was a mofo-board. hahahhahaha
yeah but you're so right, this is so good for my self esteem, and ego.
super grateful to you. I really really am, man.
just phenomenal that you would help me. really really cool.
thank you, man.
It's all part of the game, but next time you will know better what to watch for. You got it done, which is what matters most.
roger that.
thank you very much essenbe.
you are very kind.
thank you very much for the moral support. :)

I have a question about increasing my RAM.
I have 16 GB. and was thinking about getting 16 GB more.
but, it won't be a matched set with the first 16 GB.
so, should I not get it?
I don't think I want to pull the 16 GB thats already in there out, and buy 32 more GB, so I would have a matched set.
but is that what I should do?
